Okay, I've seen most of The OC and I love a good mocking as much as anyone, even though the first season and parts of the second were extremely well-written and good, but I honestly wouldn't have even thought OC if you hadn't said it. What in the world are they mocking? I know there was a scene where one character shoots another character's brother, but the whole sister thing (and the multiple shootings) come out of left field.

Snorted outloud! I'm not sure if I would have pegged it as OC either, other than the music over-track. And the slo-mo fall to carpet. And the gun clattering to the ground. Ok -- maybe I would have.... ;)
I had no idea it was an OC spoof until I started searching YouTube for it and found so many with "oc" tags. I think (forgive my OC ignorance, haha) it came from the Season 2 finale? Mischa Barton (sp?) shot some guy who was beating the crap out of the main dude (the actor's name escapes me), and the guy who had been shot did the cheesy slow-motion head turn to face his shooter--a look that they imitate perfectly in the spoof, haha. But aside from that look and the music, I don't guess they're specifically imitating anything else... I'm not sure if there's some significance to the whole letter-to-sister thing, aside from using it to recap later on.
