SWEET MERCY.
Just finished Season 3 of The Office.
F. T. W.
(And yes, it is, in fact, 7:30 in the morning. I napped from 8pm to 11pm... and then pretty much watched the entire second half of the third season. TV shows on DVD are about the best thing ever.)
I'm so excited for Thursday.

I think yes, something was a little different. I think it bothered me less since she was all about repeatedly stating how she was trying to be more assertive and say what she felt, but... she did lose a little of her characteristic sweetness, I think. Also, I watched all of Season 3 in about two days, so I didn't have much time to sit and really think about things that were happening. After I think about it some more, I'll probably agree even more.
And don't think I'm creepy, but after I finished watching I went back and read some of your old posts regarding this season finale (I remembered skipping them at the time because I knew I'd be catching up on the show sometime). I have to agree with you about an inexplicable character change in Karen in the last episode, one that just seems like bad writing. On the one hand, I felt very enthusiastic, because I wasn't really a fan of her and the silly girl in me liked how she suddenly was being made out to be a bad guy. But on the other hand, it just seemed really out of nowhere and inconsistent with the rest of the season, and you know. The semi-logical part of my brain recognized that.
Still, I want the Jim and Pam. I need it. Perhaps that's overly cliche of me, but if they don't end up together at the series's end, I think I'll die a little inside. (J.D. and Elliott, though... if they do end up together, I'll die a little inside.)
Okay, wow, pardon my massive comment. I've had no one to talk to about this, can you tell?
Oh, and one more thing... my favorite moment of this last season? Hands down, Dwight with the pepper spray. That. Was. Magical.
...Sorry! o_o
Hahaha. That was ginormous. But it was good. I really do LOVE Jim and Pam. It was just harder to root for the Season 3 Pam. And I think I said this in random older posts -- it's not that I wanted Karen and Jim together necessarily; I just liked Karen as an overall addition to the office. And so that's why, when they suddenly made her all bitchy in the finale, I was like not cool.
And dude. Dwight and the pepper spray. So. Awesome.
Good comment. :)
