No one's judging me today!
Well, that's probably not true--I am wearing yellow rain boots with multi-colored hearts on them--but the reference is to juries.
I realized last night that it was the first time in 4 years that I wasn't spending the night before juries frantically practicing and attempting to memorize a self-learned piece*. Why?
BECAUSE I'VE GRADUATED AND DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT ANYMORE!
And while those were fun times--I'll always especially remember the night a number of us gave up practicing, spent hours of 1am-4am (or more? I forget) at Huddle House, and didn't bother sleeping (well, I didn't)--it was certainly nice to get up this morning not freaking out about a jury. Well, it was nice to sleep at all, actually. Ah, the perks of graduation!
*Something that is supposed to be done over the course of the second half of the semester... not over the course of the week before one's jury.
