Okay, technically not the first haircut. (Although last summer really was the first time I ever got more than an inch taken off.) But it is the first time in my life I've ever had short hair:

You should know that haircuts, like tattoos are addictive. Be
careful not to fall into the trap of ever-shortening hair, where you
wake up one morning and realize that youlook like a boy. Not that
I know anyone who's ever done that. ;0)
