With the turkey thawing in the sink (oops, I forgot about that whole... thaw in the fridge for two days... thing...), dishes getting reading in the dishwasher, and pumpkin pie about to be started, Fakesgiving is off to a ...boring?... start! We're actually aiming hopefully for dinner around 5:30! Fortunately it's just a tiny 3-pound thing.

Sounds dumb. All of this discussion. So I'll add my craziness. Since we won't be home at all this week we set up our Christmas tree last night. After Thanksgiving I'll be packed with exams and Karen will be giving exams and then we are off to our 2 week see everyone for Christmas excursion. Hope your Fakesgiving goes well Joie. I feel like it should have a title, "Fakesgiving 2: The Return of the Bird."
